Economy becomes demise of JuicyCampus

Matt Ivester, the brainchild behind the gossip website, JuicyCampus, announced Wednesday the controversial site would shut down the next day due to lack of funds from advertisements and investors.

The site had generated much debate over privacy and slander because all posts were guaranteed anonymous. Campuses around the country seem to be taking a sigh of relief that the site has met its demise:
