It's really too bad that "Where the Wild Things Are" didn't get the cover of this week's Entertainment Weekly. Instead, David Letterman's blackmail-inspired affair admission beat out the film adaptation of Maurice Sendak's classic children's book. Maybe I'm just saying that because I'm super excited about the movie's release this Friday—you would be too after months of hype and weeks of fact-checking an article featuring Catherine O'Hara and Forest Whitaker, who voice two of the Wild Things (find it here in the October issue of Delta Sky). I even made a previous post about my excitement for the movie.
If you haven't read the book—read it. If you haven't watched the trailer—watch it. And if you haven't thought about seeing the movie—think about it. It's going to be great!
